I couldn’t resist taking a panoramic shot on the
avenue. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of panoramas. They provide more of a “you
are there” feel in certain cases, although they certainly are suited only to
specific shooting situations. I’ll have to try to shoot from the same spot
during the day. The barricades seen in the foreground of the photo are left
over from the visit of the Chinese president.
I tried to take some panoramas of the Eiffel Tower
from the Trocadéro Gardens (also on the way home—yes, I have a very scenic
commute!), but it was just too dark to get anything photogenic beyond the tower
itself. Maybe during the day.
The project for this weekend is … doing the
laundry.
